Cardano hits its all-time high
Reports and data showed that Cardano has hit its all-time high. The altcoin has surpassed the $2.60 mark in the small hours of August 22. Currently, it is the third most valuable cryptocurrency. Yet, through another attempt, the third most valuable cryptocurrency by market capitalization has made itself reach a mark of $2.60 on the 20th of August. But it fell short at $2.58 and, by the evening of August 21, had gone back down to $2.40. But then ADA made a steady climb. It smashed its previous records and settled on $2.64. At the time of press, the price was within just under this particular mark at $2.61.
This achievement was of much joy and excitement for the Cardano Community. On August 22, they took it to Twitter and tweeted, “Mentions of both the #Cardano hashtag and $ADA cashtag have absolutely exploded with the #crypto asset’s new #AllTimeHigh, The crowd & its euphoric behavior at this level will have a major hand in whether prices continue toward $3.00 & beyond.”
This is a huge milestone for Cardino, especially in this somewhat turbulent week for ADA. Cardino has taken over Tether (USDT) and Binance Coin (BNB) in the market cap rankings. From the data shown, everything began last Sunday, when it recorded with a $2.19 but then it again started to change, which had gone down to $1.92 by 18th August (Wednesday), making the token’s price tumble downwards. But as they say, it is not the end until it really is. A surging change occurred. It was from here that history was made and ADA started to rise again and spiked to its all-time high.
The key factor that has contributed to ADA’s recent price surges are the upcoming smart contract launch. Earlier in the month. Reports showed that the token’s value had spiked 20% from $1.54 to $1.88 and it was around the same time that Charles Hoskinson, founder of ADA, announced the upcoming debut of the smart contract feature.
